Effectiveness of Fog Seal on Chip Sealed Low-Volume Roads

December 30, 2019 by Shannon Fiecke

This project will develop a resource guide about the effectiveness (application & cost) of fog sealing over chip-sealed roads. It will include a survey/interview of local agencies, followed by analysis on the effectiveness between a standalone chip seal and a fog seal over chip seal. Expected products: a report summarizing findings and a best practices manual for local agencies. Follow this project.
