February 7, 2017 by LRRB

Product 1: A set of best practices for local government agencies to use in dealing with the construction of large traffic generator, i.e. increased loads on roads, detours, road closings, bridge ratings, resident relations, etc. The best practices should also give guidance on dealing with the long term maintenance issues. Product 2: A spreadsheet calculator based on common local agency pavement modeling methods, that predicts pavement consumption and costs. The calculator will include appropriate default parameters and default override capabilities especially for cost estimates. To access both products visit Best Practices: Managing Interactions Between Local Authorities and Major Traffic Generators.
