Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) for Urban and Suburban Street Application

December 30, 2019 by Shannon Fiecke

Two recent LRRB studies validate the assertion that FDR is a viable and cost-effective option for urban and suburban asphalt pavement rehabilitation:

  • Full Depth Reclamation for Urban and Suburban Street Application (Report 2016-37)
  • Investigation of Performance Requirements of FDR Stabilization (Report 2016-09)

This RIC project would focus on developing a video, outreach or updating existing training with the study’s findings focusing on local agencies and their experiences. Specifically, addressing how to conduct FDR in areas with curb-and-gutter, utilities, storm sewers, manholes, etc. And, what do you do with the excess reclaimed materials?

Follow this project.
